Nat Mataung (Mt.Victoria)
Nat Mataung is the highest mountain in Chin State which is 10018
feet high and not far from the Glorious Bagan. There have many
various mammals such as bear, wild boar, leopard, guar, serow,
gibbon, butterfly, reptiles and more than 159 bird species. It has
also been designated as a National Park, a perfect place for
eco-tourism.
Mt.Hkakaborazi
Mt.
Hkakaborazi, located in the northern Myanmar near the Chinese
border, is 5885.3 meters hight. It is the highest mountain in South
East Asia, where the peak is enclosed within National Park to get to
the bottom from Putao, it approximately takes 30 daystrekking. In
1997, it was for the first time conquered by a team of Myanmar and
Japanese climbers.
There is Hkakaborazi National Park wild life Garden (Park). Musk
Deer, Blue Sheep, Black Barking Deer, Phet Gyi, Mammal species and
insects such as butterflies are present.
Mt. Phonekanrazi

Phonekarazi mountain, in the north most part of Myanmar, is
situated in Putao township. The snow capped mountains which
separated Kachin state in Myanmar from India are the most accessible
to Putao. One could trek to Mt.Phonekanrazi from the frontier
village of Upper Sanggong. From here one could observe along hunting
trails through pristine old growth forest and isolated settlements
to the Mountain Base. Tribal villages, climax forest and snow capped
mountain peaks are perfect mix of this place.
Mergui Archipelago ( Myeik Archipelago )
The
Mergui Archipelago is in the Southern most part of Myanmar, covering
the area of about 36,000 square kilometers. There are about 800
islands in the area which make the place uniquely attractive. The
inhabitants of these inlands are the Salons(or) the Sea gypsies. The
beautiful and isolated islands, the surounding area, the flora and
fauna and the marine life are the most incredible characters of
these islands.
In Myeik Archipelago, there are boat sailing, diving, swimming,
snorkeling and study of Marine species and wildlife which are very
attracted by foreign tourists as adventure tour destination.
